Our visit to the Sinai Academy

Last week we visited the Sinai Academy in Bloubergrant.


The Quails  went into the synagogue and we met the Rabbi. The trees separated the boys from the girls.We Read their bible From back to front .The boys wore a kippah. We saw  the Torah.The Rabbia blew the rams horn it was very loud.


We had Shabbat with the Jewish children.One boy prayed in Hebrew. We ate challah bread and We had grape juice. We learnt about Rosh Hashanah, the Ark, the scrolls and Israel.

I enjoyed the morning .I respect their religion .They  celebrated Shabbat.

Gr4 camp

Last week we went  on camp .we went to Giraffe House I saw a llama and a Zebra ostrich.Then we went to a reptile show ,i was very scared of the snakes and the spider .i was most scared oh the tarantula.After the show was done we got ice-cream.We went back on the bus to the camp.When we got there we had our lunch and then we play s.t.o.p. stop .We where sorted into groups  my group did the obstacle course and we played in the mud pit. At the camp the food was very nice.when it was dark we went on a night hike .The next day we did a team building game, we swam and made a fort with the stick in the forest .before we knew it the time had flown bye and it was night.We had a bonfire we roasted marshmallows and play Elkanahs got talent.we had to go back to our dormitory. The next day it was home time .i slept on the bus ride home .Camp was definitely one of the most memorable places I have ever  been
